The Heel 'n' Toe

The new MK II Log has been specially adapted to fit the Heel 'n' Toe which is the answer to all those in The Logging Community who have been asking us to develop a floorboard for The Logarhythm.

Not only does the Heel 'n' Toe provide greater adhesion to the floor but it also introduces the possibility of creating extra grooves with your heel.

Because your heel is further away from the acoustic chamber within The Log the percussive effect of the heel is at a lower level. ideal for your funky, swampy groove thang. or woteva.

The Wedge

The Wedge is an optional adaptor for Loggers who prefer to use The Logarhythm at an angle. Some folks find this angle more comfortable and also enjoy the heftier thump you can get by stomping on the top surface of The Log.

One Man and His Log . . Ever wondered how you could play drums and guitar whilst not using a drum machine? Stay cool and leave "Roland" behind you . . . discover the hip world of The Log. All you need is a right or left foot that can stomp out the beats and you have found log heaven. The all new Logarhythm is the thing for you! Welcome to Log World! The Log will put out a nice round bassy kick drum and save you from the criticism that "It's all just machines!". In fact you'll find that audiences are fascinated by the idea that you can plug a piece of timber into an amplifier to produce the rhythm. How cool is that? All you've got to do is tap your foot on The Log in time with the music you're playing. Depending on the type of shoes you're wearing you will find that the sound of The Logarhythm will change. hard leather soles will produce a more "toppy" sound than say trainers or thick rubber soles. Tapping your foot at different points along the width of The Logarhythm will also produce a tonal variation. It's pretty versatile. The Logarhythm is made from a high-quality African hardwood called Sapele. We give The Log a generous double coating of Linseed oil and then finish off with a fine wax polish before it leaves our workshops. The base of the unit features a non-slip black gauze pad in order to stop it skating around the stage. but for even better adhesion and to get some extra-funky grooves, we suggest that you take a look at the Heel'n'Toe pictured here with The Log and The Wedge. So there you go . . . put one end of a guitar lead into the Log Out socket and the other into your amp or PA.
